Our founder started working on air conditioning systems at sixteen years old. He didn’t just learn the trade — he grew up inside it. By the time he was working for the largest residential and commercial HVAC companies in the industry, he had seen every corner of how the business operated.
And what he saw bothered him. Technicians trained to push replacements on units that had years of life left. Diagnostic shortcuts that missed the real problem. Installations done fast instead of done right — penetrations caulked instead of sealed, systems that failed within years because the fundamentals were skipped.
Customers were paying thousands for work they didn’t need, or paying again two years later because the first job wasn’t done properly. There was no accountability because there was no proof.
So he built Grandmark around a different idea: customer first, business second. If a repair can solve the problem, we repair it. If a unit can be kept running a little longer to buy a customer time, we do that. And when a replacement is genuinely the right call, we prove it on video — so there’s no doubt, no pressure, no guessing.

We’re licensed roofers as well as HVAC contractors. Every roof penetration is professionally flashed and sealed — not caulked. This is why our installations last longer than the industry standard.

If we can extend the life of your unit to buy you time, we will. If we can repair instead of replace, we will. The job is to solve your problem — not to maximize our ticket.
